MaxPaya (maxpaya.com) is committed to maintaining the integrity of the global digital asset ecosystem and preventing the misuse of our payment gateway for money laundering, terrorist financing, or illicit cyber-activities.
1. Automated On-Chain Risk Monitoring
MaxPaya utilizes automated blockchain heuristics and risk-scoring protocols to screen incoming deposits and outgoing payout destinations against known high-risk indicators, including:
- Wallet addresses explicitly listed on international sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU).
- Funds originating directly from verified smart contract exploits, bridge hacks, or ransomware addresses.
- Darknet marketplaces and illicit mixing services flagged by on-chain intelligence providers.
2. Risk-Based Merchant Verification
While MaxPaya provides frictionless API onboarding for legitimate digital commerce, SaaS platforms, and Telegram services, we reserve the right to conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD) if a Merchant account exhibits severe compliance red flags or receives formal law enforcement inquiries regarding stolen funds.
3. Handling of Flagged Transactions
In the event that an incoming deposit is demonstrably linked to a severe on-chain security exploit or sanctioned entity:
- The specific transaction may be temporarily isolated from automated treasury sweeping.
- The Merchant will be notified via dashboard alert or registered support contact to provide order context (e.g., invoice logs or service delivery proof).
- Legitimate Merchant balances unrelated to the flagged transaction remain unaffected.
4. Prohibited Jurisdictions & Entities
MaxPaya services may not be utilized by individuals, businesses, or organizations operating on behalf of sanctioned governments or designated terrorist organizations.
5. Compliance & Security Inquiries
Official inquiries regarding transaction compliance, security incident reports, or abuse notifications can be directed to our compliance team through the official contact email listed in the website footer.
