Welcome to MaxPaya (maxpaya.com). By registering a Merchant Account, generating API credentials, or utilizing our multi-chain cryptocurrency payment gateway and settlement infrastructure, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
1. Scope of Services
MaxPaya provides automated technical infrastructure enabling Merchants to generate cryptocurrency deposit invoices, monitor real-time blockchain confirmations across supported networks (including TRON, BNB Smart Chain, TON, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana), process partial payment settlements, and execute automated wallet-to-wallet treasury sweeps and payouts.
2. Merchant Account & API Security
- Credential Confidentiality: Merchants are solely responsible for safeguarding their Public API Keys (
X-API-KEY), HMAC-SHA256 Secret Keys, and account access credentials. - Webhook Validation: Merchants must cryptographically verify incoming webhook payloads using the
X-Signature-SHA256header before fulfilling customer orders or crediting user balances. - Unauthorized Access: MaxPaya is not liable for any financial loss resulting from compromised Merchant API keys, server breaches on the Merchant's infrastructure, or misconfigured payout destination addresses.
3. Invoice Processing, Partial Payments & Finality
- Blockchain Irreversibility: All confirmed cryptocurrency transactions on the blockchain are irreversible. MaxPaya cannot cancel, reverse, or recall on-chain transfers once broadcast.
- Exchange Rate Lock: Invoice exchange rates are locked for a fixed expiration window. Deposits arriving after invoice expiration or on an unsupported blockchain network may require manual recovery.
- Smart Partial Settlements: If a customer remits less than the expected invoice amount, the invoice enters a
partialorpartial_expiredstate. Merchants may programmatically or manually accept the exact received amount, which proportionally adjusts the settled USD value and deducts standard platform fees.
4. Fees, Sweeps & Payouts
MaxPaya charges a transparent flat processing fee (standard 0.4% unless a custom Enterprise tier applies) deducted automatically upon invoice settlement. On-chain network gas fees required for treasury sweeps or external payout dispatches are calculated dynamically based on live blockchain congestion.
5. Prohibited Activities
Merchants may not use MaxPaya to process payments for illegal narcotics, sanctioned entities, ransomware, child exploitation material, terrorist financing, or fraudulent Ponzi schemes. Violation of these restrictions will result in immediate API termination.
6. Limitation of Liability
MaxPaya provides its gateway infrastructure on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaxPaya shall not be liable for indirect damages, blockchain network forks, RPC node congestion, or third-party smart contract vulnerabilities.
